It was a beautiful weekend in Tucson with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 70s. It has been two years since the University of Arizona has hosted the Tucson Festival of Books and it was great to see the turn out.
I shared a booth with two of my teacher/writer friends, Theoden Humphrey, author of the Damantion Kane pirate fantasy series and Lisa Watson, author of the novel, Long Distance, as well as several poetry and short story anthologies. We had a great time catching up with eachother and talking to visitors.
Many thanks to those of you who were able to come for making it a successful festival and a wonderful experience! We are looking forward to returning again next year!
